COVID-19 Response

{Last Updated 3-25-2020}

Recent executive orders from local and national governments recognize the importance of practicing safe outdoor recreation during these unprecedented times. Santee National Golf Club is operational and we continue to follow the CDC’s recommended precautions and guidelines for safe business practices. Below are the new practices we have implemented for the safety of our guests and our staff.

– Golf Shop capacity is limited to allow for proper social distancing.

– Snack bar service is available through the patio door without having to enter into the building.

– Staff is regularly disinfecting and sanitizing all touchpoints and wearing rubber gloves for your safety and ours

– Golf carts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for solo riders.

– Golf carts are thoroughly sanitized in between each use, including the steering wheel and all touchpoints.

– All bunker rakes, ball washers, putting green flags have been removed. Pool noodles are placed in the bottom of each cup to prevent touching of any surfaces upon ball retrieval. Please do not remove flag sticks from the hole.

The COVID-19 virus is a very serious health issue across the country. If you are feeling ill in any way, please adhere to recommendations to stay home. With everyone’s help, we have the best chance to achieve our goal of maintaining a safe and healthy outdoor recreation space for you to enjoy.
